wish i could
Wish I Could..
I wonder where you are right now
Wish I could see you somehow
Can't seem to ease the pain
Since you've been gone nothing's been the same
How I wish you could've stayed awhile
How I wish that I could see you smile for me
Wish I could hold you in my arms
Keep you safe and keep you warm
But now all I can do
Is hope and long for you
You're in my mind every night and day
Wishing you're part of me in every way
'Coz all I wanted to do was to always be there for you
Wish that I could tell you just how much I love you
I guess I should not fear
'Coz I know God can hear (I know)
And He's telling me you're alright
And there's no need to worry
Oh my baby, I am so sorry (so sorry)
If I had known, maybe you could've been here with me
Wish I could hold you in my arms
Keep you safe and keep you warm
But now all I can do
Is hope and long for you, you, you, you
You're in my mind every night and day
Wishing you're part of me in every way
'Coz all I wanted to do was to always be there for you
How I wish I could hold you in my arms
Keep you safe and keep you warm
But now all I can do
Is hope and long for you
You're in my mind every night and day
Wishing you're part of me in every way
'Coz all I wanted to do (I wanted to do)
Was to always be there for you
Wish that I could tell you just how much I love you
(Wish I could)
Wish that I could tell you...that I love you

Holy Week's - Visita Iglesia
Holy Thursday, before Easter is celebrated with last Mass, a reenactment of the Washing of the Feet of the Apostles; this Mass is followed by the procession of the Blessed Sacrament before it is taken to the Altar of Repose. The Visita Iglesia (Church Visit), Old traditional rituals in the Philippines where the faithful visit at least 7 churches on Maundy Thursday and say their prayers or do the Station of the Cross.
Its been years since we started our Visita Iglesia or Church Visit. I remember when im still young, my mother together with our friends/neighbors do this tradition yearly. And until now, my friends (marchi, judith, marlon, monch & ardy)and I continue to remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
To begin with, we visit the Sto. Niño Church in Pandacan, which is near our place

Sto. Niño Church

St. Jude in Malacañang

San Sebastian Church

Saint Benedict Church

Quiapo Church

Manila Cathedral Church (outside)

San Agustin Church
Easter morning is marked with joyous celebration, the first being the dawn the "Salubong". This commemorates the encounter between Jesus Christ and His Mother, Blessed Virgin Mary. To start the procession, people are separated into two groups. The first group consists of men who will follow the image of Jesus Christ, while the other group consists of women who follow the image of Mary. At the end of the procession, the two groups will meet in the church, where a number of little girls who participate during the dawn ritual as angels.

Holy Week
Lent is 40 weekdays from Ash Wednesday. Lent is a time of penance, prayer, preparation for or recollection of baptism, and preparation for the celebration of Easter. In Christianity, a time of fasting and repentance in the spring, beginning on Ash Wednesday and ending several weeks later on Easter. To “give something up for Lent” is to abandon a pleasurable habit as an act of devotion and self-discipline.
Holy Week is the last week of Lent, the week immediately preceding Easter Sunday., Holy Week, known as Semana Santa, is treated as one of the most important religious festivals of the entire year. At Mass on Palm Sunday, Catholics carry "palaspas" or palm leaves to be blessed by the priest. Many Filipinos bring home the palm leaves after the Mass and place these above their front doors or their windows, believing that doing so can ward off evil spirits. Holy Monday marks the beginning of the Pabasa (literally, reading) or Pasyon, the marathon chanting of the story of Jesus' life, passion, and death, which continues day and night, for as long as two straight days.
Palm Sunday - "Palaspas"
A popular Holy Thursday tradition is the Bisita Iglesia (Church Visit), Old traditional rituals in the Philippines where the faithful visit at least 7 churches on Maundy Thursday and say their prayers or do the Station of the Cross.
The last Mass before Easter is also celebrated on Holy Thursday, usually including a reenactment of the Washing of the Feet of the Apostles; this Mass is followed by the procession of the Blessed Sacrament before it is taken to the Altar of Repose. Good Friday in the Philippines is commemorated with street processions, the Way of the Cross, the commemoraton of Jesus' Seven last words (Siete Palabras) and a Passion play called the Sinakulo. In some communities, the processions include devotees who self-flagellate and sometimes even have themselves nailed to crosses as expressions of penance. After three o'clock in the afternoon of Good Friday (the time at which Jesus is traditionally believed to have died), noise is discouraged, bathing is proscribed and the faithful are urged to keep a solemn and prayerful disposition through Black Saturday. Easter morning is marked with joyous celebration, the first being the dawn Salubong, wherein large statues of Jesus and Mary are brought in procession together to meet, imagining the first reunion of Jesus and his mother Mary after Jesus' Resurrection. This is followed by the joyous Easter Mass.

Way Back Into Love
I've been living with a shadow overhead
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed
I've been lonely for so long
Trapped in the past, i just can't seem to move on
I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
Just in case i ever need em again someday
I've been setting aside time
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind
All i want to do is find a way back to love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
Oh oh oh
I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine
I've been searching but i just don't see the signs
I know that it's out there
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere
I've been looking for someone to shed some light
Not just somebody just to get me throught the night
I could use some direction
And i'm open to your suggestions
All i want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through whithout a way back into love
And if i open my heart again
I guess i'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end
There are moments when i don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way i feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation
All i want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if i open my heart to you
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do
And if you help me to start again
You know that i'll be there for you in the end

Music and Lyrics

Alex Fletcher is a washed-up '80s pop star who's been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit at county fairs and amusement parks. The charismatic and talented musician gets a chance at a comeback when reigning diva Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her, but there's a problem--Alex hasn't written a song in years, he's never written lyrics, and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days. Enter Sophie Fisher, Alex's beguilingly quirky plant lady, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the struggling songwriter. On the rebound from a bad relationship, Sophie is reluctant to collaborate with anyone, especially commitment-phobe Alex. As their chemistry heats up at the piano and under it, Alex and Sophie will have to face their fears--and the music--if they want to find the love and success they both deserve.
